Overview

The Rodney Dickman 7466939 is a rebuildable front wheel bearing hub designed for the 1988 Fiero. Forgings are made in China and machined, heat-treated, and assembled in Taiwan, featuring Japan NSK bearings/races and a double lip rubber seal. This hub uses common tapered wheel bearings, with both inner and outer races being replaceable.

The Rodney Dickman 7466939 is a rebuildable front wheel bearing hub specifically engineered for the 1988 Fiero model. This component features forgings manufactured in China, which are then machined, heat-treated, and assembled in Taiwan. The seal is a Timken 494122 or equivalent, the large inner bearing is a Timken 32007 or equivalent, and the smaller outer bearing is a Timken 32006 or equivalent. Replacement parts, including bearings and seals, are available from Rodney Dickman. It is important to note that these hubs are not intended for racing applications. Additionally, while the standard hubs come with studs, an undrilled option is available where the spindle is not pre-drilled for studs, requiring the user to take it to a machine shop for custom drilling and reaming to match their desired lug bolt pattern and size. Torque for the three mounting bolts should be set to 62 foot-pounds, deviating from the 1988 GM service manual value.
