FSI High Pressure Fuel Pump Kit

The IE High Pressure Fuel Pump (HPFP) Internals Upgrade Kit is engineered to significantly enhance the fueling capabilities of compatible VW and Audi 2.0T FSI engines. This kit provides a crucial upgrade for performance enthusiasts aiming for higher horsepower outputs, supporting builds up to 600hp at 7500rpm, and is considered essential for Stage 2 and big turbo applications. Constructed with meticulous attention to detail, the kit features a proprietary tool steel alloy piston and pin for extreme resistance to wear and abrasion, critical in a system lubricated solely by gasoline. The piston and cylinder boast a nitrided surface finish for hardened components, ensuring reduced wear and adherence to exact tolerances. A key benefit is the constant diameter piston design, which differs from stepped designs that can lead to increased wear and leakage. An ultralight titanium retainer replaces the factory steel component, reducing the risk of valve float, while a custom molybdenum disulfide impregnated seal ensures a leak-free operation and reduced friction. Installation requires an extremely clean environment due to the high tolerance nature of the pump internals. The kit is designed as an internal upgrade to the factory HPFP and requires a matching ECU tune calibrated for a 9.8mm HPFP piston diameter to be fully utilized. The manufacturer states that while the pump is a direct fit, a tune is mandatory. This upgrade kit is compatible with a range of VW and Audi 2.0T FSI (timing belt driven) and TSI EA113 engines, including the MK5 GTI/Jetta, MK6 Golf R, B7 A4, 8P A3/S3, and MKII TT, among others with specified engine codes. It also fits specific Mazdaspeed 3 and 6 models. For Audi 4.2L FSI engines (found in B7 RS4 and B8 S5), two pumps are required.
