The COMP Cams HRT Stage 1 camshaft is designed for Gen III Hemi engines, utilizing advanced lobe designs for increased average power and torque. This camshaft features "Low Shock Technology" to maximize horsepower and improve stability at higher RPMs, while also enhancing valve spring durability and reducing load loss. It includes a Micro Surface Enhancement (MSE) finishing process, which increases strength and performance by reducing surface peak roughness and improving the effective load-bearing area. This Stage 1 camshaft requires no valve springs, offering a cost-effective solution for significant horsepower gains over stock.
