FT INPUT EXPANDER

The FuelTech Input Expander module adds 24 additional inputs (20 analog and 4 VR) when used with any PowerFT line ECU (FT450, FT550, FT550LITE, and FT600). This is the perfect addition to the engine management system for anyone seeking to datalog additional sensors. The FT Input Expander was developed in response to requests from top teams racing in the Pro Mod category who had used all available inputs on the FT600, FuelTech's most advanced EFI system equipped with 20 inputs, but wanted to datalog information from additional sensors. All data is sent via CAN network to the ECU. Readings from the sensors wired to the expander will be saved in the ECU's internal datalog file, eliminating the need for additional equipment and analyzing separate datalog files. To install the input expander, simply wire power and ground, connect the CAN bus connector to the ECU, and wire the orange wires to the sensors you want to add. All settings and configuration are done through FuelTech's FTManager software.
