FT86 V2.1 Turbo Kit

The JDL FT86 V2.1 Turbo Kit provides a comprehensive forced induction solution for the 2013-2020 Scion FR-S, Toyota 86, and Subaru BRZ FA20 engine architecture. Key features include CNC mandrel-bent, thick-walled Schedule 40 304 Stainless Steel tubular runners and an investment cast merge collector, available in either unequal or equal length configurations. The standard kit includes a Garrett GT28 Journal Bearing turbo, with upgrade options to Garrett GT Ball Bearing, GTX Gen II, or Pulsar turbos, offering power capabilities ranging from 350 hp to over 750 hp depending on the turbocharger selected. The kit comes with a JDL 3" stainless steel downpipe (2.5" or 3" outlet options) and a 39mm wastegate flange with a standard Turbosmart 38mm wastegate pre-set to 7 PSI. The exhaust note can be customized with a standard Vent-to-Atmosphere (VTA) dump tube for a loud sound, or an optional recirculated system for a quieter, incognito profile. Intercooler piping is JDL's Short Path Aluminum, powder-coated chrome, and includes all necessary couplers and t-bolt clamps. The standard JDL compact intercooler may require modification to the OEM crash beam, with an optional long route intercooler upgrade available for a "no-cut" solution. The kit also includes stainless steel oil feed and drain lines, with an optional pre-welded oil pan for easier installation. **Important Considerations:** Tuning solutions are sold separately and are required for proper operation. A 3-BAR MAP sensor is also required to accurately read boost levels up to 29 psi. Power levels above 300whp and/or the use of Ethanol fuel blends necessitate the addition of higher-flow fuel injectors and a fuel pump. The kit is compatible with both manual and automatic transmissions, as well as Left-Hand Drive (LHD) and Right-Hand Drive (RHD) vehicles. Installation requires modification to the OEM crash bar or the use of an optional JDL Bumper Bar.
