FT86 V2.1 Turbo Kit

The JDL FT86 V2.1 Turbo Kit provides a forced induction solution for the 2013-2020 Scion FR-S, Toyota 86, and Subaru BRZ equipped with the FA20 engine. The kit offers a selection of turbocharger options, including Pulsar 4849A (up to 550 hp), Garrett GT2860RS (up to 350 hp), GTX2860R GEN II (up to 475 hp), GTX2867R GEN II (up to 550 hp), GT3076R (up to 525 hp), and GTX3076R GEN II (up to 750 hp). The manifold construction features CNC mandrel-bent, thick-walled Schedule 40 304 stainless steel, with options for both un-equal and equal length designs. It includes a TurboSmart wastegate as standard, with an optional recirculation pipe for the open dump wastegate. Additional options available for this kit include a blow-off valve, choice of charge pipe colors, and optional thermal ceramic coating. The coating can help reduce radiant heat, lower engine bay temperatures, protect surrounding components, and add corrosion protection. This turbo system is compatible with both manual and automatic transmissions, as well as left-hand drive (LHD) and right-hand drive (RHD) vehicles. Important considerations for installation and operation: Power levels exceeding 300whp or the use of E85/FlexFuel blends require upgraded fuel injectors and a fuel pump. A 3-BAR MAP sensor is mandatory for the vehicle to accurately read boost levels up to 29 psi. Tuning and tuning software are not included with the kit.
