FT86 V2.1 Turbo Kit

The JDL Auto Design FT86 V2.1 Turbo Kit is engineered to provide a comprehensive forced induction solution for the 2013-2020 Scion FR-S, Toyota 86, and Subaru BRZ FA20 engine architecture. The kit utilizes a robust CNC mandrel-bent, thick-walled Schedule 40 304 stainless steel manifold, available in unequal or equal length configurations, with investment cast merge collectors. It includes a Turbosmart 38mm wastegate (pre-set to 7 PSI) and a Turbosmart 38mm Vee Port PRO blow-off valve. The system features a JDL Compact Aluminum Intercooler with powder-coated chrome charge piping. Optional upgrades are available for the turbocharger, including various Garrett GT and GTX series turbos, as well as Pulsar options, each with specific horsepower capabilities ranging from 350hp to 750hp. Additional options include different wastegate dump tube configurations (vent-to-atmosphere or recirculated), thermal ceramic coating for hot components, custom charge pipe colors, and an intercooler heat dissipation coating. Installation of the intercooler requires modification to the OEM crash beam or the use of an optional JDL Auto Design Bumper Bar. Stainless steel turbo feed oil lines and a weld-in oil pan fitting for drainback are included, with an option for a pre-welded oil pan for easier installation. Crucially, this turbo kit requires separate tuning solutions and a 3-BAR MAP sensor to accurately read boost levels. These components, along with fuel injectors and a fuel pump for power levels exceeding 300whp or when using ethanol fuel blends, are sold separately. A lifetime warranty is provided on the JDL Auto Design Turbo Manifold, Down-Pipe, Dump-Tube, and Charge-Piping, with other components covered under their respective manufacturer warranties.
