FT86 V2.1 Turbo Kit w/ Garrett GT28 Turbo

The JDL FT86 V2.1 Turbo Kit offers a comprehensive solution for enthusiasts seeking substantial power gains for their Scion FR-S, Toyota 86, or Subaru BRZ equipped with the FA20 engine, covering model years 2013-2020. The kit features a robust manifold constructed from CNC mandrel-bent, thick-walled Schedule 40 304 stainless steel, paired with an investment cast merge collector available in unequal or equal length configurations. It utilizes a Garrett GT28 journal bearing turbo (with upgrade options available), a Turbosmart 38mm wastegate pre-set to 7 PSI, and a Turbosmart 38mm Vee Port PRO blow-off valve. The cooling system includes a JDL compact intercooler and short-path aluminum charge piping, which requires modification to the OEM crash beam or the use of an optional JDL bumper bar. Installation of this turbo system requires several essential components and procedures. Tuning solutions are sold separately and are mandatory for operation. Additionally, a 3-BAR MAP sensor is required to accurately read boost levels. For vehicles with power goals exceeding 300whp or those utilizing ethanol fuel blends, upgraded fuel injectors and a fuel pump are also necessary. JDL Auto Design provides a lifetime warranty on their turbo manifold, down-pipe, dump tube, and charge piping to the original owner, while other components are covered by their respective manufacturer warranties. The kit is compatible with both manual and automatic transmissions, as well as left-hand drive (LHD) and right-hand drive (RHD) vehicles.
