The Nissan 16400-F5100 is a genuine OEM fuel filter (strainer assembly) designed to restore optimal fuel flow and protect engine components by capturing dirt and debris. Compatibility includes a range of Nissan models from the 1980s and 1990s, such as the 1989-1994 240SX (KA24D/E engines), 1984-1989 300ZX (VG30/VG30T engines), 1985-1986 720 Pickup (Z24I engine), 1989-1994 Axxess, 1985-1994 Maxima (VE30DE/VG30E engines), 1983-1990 Pulsar NX, 1987-1994 Sentra, and 1987-1989 Stanza. Dimensions are 5.1 x 3.3 x 3.2 inches, with a total weight of 0.60 pounds. Installation requires depressurizing the fuel system by removing the gas cap and disabling the fuel pump before disconnecting hoses. On fuel-injected models, proper clamp tightening (typically 3mm from the hose end) is essential. If a check engine light persists after installation, the control unit memory may need to be cleared by disconnecting the battery cable for one minute.
