The Caterpillar 1R-0749 is a secondary, high-efficiency spin-on fuel filter engineered to meet stringent efficiency requirements for numerous Cat engines, including the 3406B/C/E, C7, C9, C10, C11, C12, C13, C15, C16, C18, and 3176. Key technical specifications include a 1-inch x 14 UN thread size, an overall height of 10.5 inches (266.7 mm), and an outer diameter of 3.68 inches (93.7 mm). The filter boasts a remarkable 2-micron absolute micron rating and achieves 99.3% efficiency at 6.50 microns (c). It also features a robust collapse pressure rating of 100 psi (6.9 bar). This fuel filter is suitable for use in Caterpillar engines and equipment, as well as Ford, Freightliner, International, Kenworth, Peterbilt, Sterling, and Western Star trucks. It is designed as a direct replacement for Caterpillar part numbers 1R-0749 and 3089679. The filter comes in a package quantity of 12.
