Fuel Filter Relocation System

The SPE Motorsport 2017+ 6.7L Powerstroke Fuel Filter System is a comprehensive upgrade designed to replace the factory fuel filtration setup on 2017 and newer 6.7L Powerstroke engines. This system relocates both the water separator and fuel filters from the engine bay to underneath the truck, adjacent to the factory lower fuel filter (DFCM) location. This relocation eliminates the mess often associated with changing the upper filter and simplifies maintenance. The system is engineered around high-performance CAT filters. It uses the CAT 256-8753 for the water and fuel separator, which matches the factory 10-micron rating but offers over 150 GPH flow improvement. This pre-chamber also features its own drain valve for service. The main fuel filter utilizes the CAT 1R0749, a 2-micron absolute filter that provides three times the filter area and volume compared to the stock 4-micron filter, ensuring superior filtration and flow for performance applications. Installation requires no cutting or modification, as the system utilizes all factory lines and connections. The upper filter is replaced by a billet aluminum manifold, which also includes auxiliary fuel ports and contributes to a cleaner engine bay appearance. It is available for both short and long-bed trucks. **Important Fitment Note:** This system **does not fit** extended cab, single cab, or cab and chassis truck configurations.
