Its 3-piece body is CNC machined from 6061 aluminum with a Type-II anodization for robust corrosion resistance. The filter features easily removable end caps with large -10AN ORB female threaded ports, facilitating high-flow plumbing. Viton O-ring seals ensure compatibility with all fuel types, including gasoline, diesel, methanol, ethanol, and E85 blends. It can safely handle fuel pressures up to 150psi with negligible pressure drop. The filter incorporates one of the largest filtration elements available, measuring 4.2"x1.75", which maximizes flow while ensuring effective contaminant capture. This large surface area contributes to an extended service life, though service intervals may need to be more frequent in high-demand, high-horsepower engines. The internal core is made of stainless steel to prevent collapsing under high flow conditions. Options include cleanable/reusable stainless steel mesh elements or more efficient microglass elements that require replacement. The burst pressure rating is 750psi, and the element capture efficiency is 99.9% at 6 microns, meeting rigorous fuel injection standards.
