The Accel FI-290 fuel injectors are engineered to provide precise control over fuel delivery and atomization, resulting in improved throttle response for your vehicle. These injectors are entirely new units, ensuring reliability as they are not modified stock components or remanufactured from used cores. Their innovative low-mass disc design guarantees accurate metering performance, even under ultra-low and high duty cycles, and they can operate effectively at higher fuel pressures without compromising control. These Accel performance injectors are versatile and can be used with both gasoline and E85 fuels, making them an excellent choice for blown applications where increased fuel pressure and precise fuel metering are critical. Advanced manufacturing processes are employed to minimize flow deviations between injectors, which contributes to enhanced overall engine performance. This attention to detail ensures that each injector performs consistently, contributing to a more reliable and efficient fuel system. Manufactured in the USA, the FI-290 injectors are recommended for 1985-1991 L98 Corvettes and are compatible with a wide range of Corvette models from 1985 to 1996. When replacing fuel injectors, it's advisable to also inspect or replace the fuel pressure regulator, as low fuel pressure can lead to a lean running condition.
