The Injector Dynamics ID1050-XDS is a high-performance fuel injector, representing the evolution of the ID1050x and is the latest addition to the X-Series line. This injector is a built-to-spec motorsport component, not a modified production part, developed through a partnership with Bosch Motorsport. It offers optimized operating parameters for tuners and includes Dual Slope Matching for improved cylinder-to-cylinder consistency at low pulse widths. Its corrosion-resistant internals ensure compatibility with all known fuels and extended service life even with aggressive fuel blends. The ID1050-XDS boasts a compact body design, allowing it to fit in over 200 applications, including current and future engines that utilize short-body injectors. An improved internal flow path increases output by 5% without compromising low-flow performance. Furthermore, a stronger magnetic circuit provides stable operation up to a maximum differential fuel pressure of 10.0 Bar (145.0 psi). Key specifications include a nominal flow rate of 1065cc/min at 3.0 Bar (43.5 psi) using gasoline at 52°C (125°F), a USCAR electrical connector, and a replaceable inlet filter to extend service life. The injector is available as a direct replacement for specific Can-Am Maverick X3 models from 2017 onwards, including X3, X3 Max, Turbo, Turbo R, and Turbo RR variants, typically sold in sets of three.
