The Bosch 0432131837 is a new, OEM-quality fuel injector engineered for 1989-1993 5.9L 12V Cummins 6BT engines, and can also be used in 4BT engines equipped with a VE rotary fuel injection pump. This injector is specifically recommended for daily driving, towing, and moderate performance needs, providing an estimated increase of 50 RWHP. Each unit comes with a 7mm nozzle and a 1.5mm nozzle washer (D3920174) pre-installed. It is crucial to verify the cylinder head nozzle bore size before ordering. Earlier heads, common in pre-1992 models or unserviced heads, feature a 9mm bore that requires a 7mm to 9mm injector sleeve/nozzle washer (PN D3919358), sold separately, to ensure proper seating. Later models (1992+) and heads that have been serviced or replaced typically have the updated 7mm bore, which fits directly without the sleeve washer, as the included nozzle washer is designed for this size. This injector is sold individually, and a complete engine set requires six units. Several essential accessories are available separately and may be necessary for installation, including return line washers (PN DPE602), an injector dust seal (PN D3909356), and an optional 0.5mm nozzle washer (PN D3930324). It is important to note that this injector is not intended for high-output performance builds exceeding the 50 RWHP rating.
