The Design Engineering 10378 Fuel Injector Heat Shield Kit offers a solution for the common heat soak and vapor lock problems experienced in Jeep vehicles equipped with inline 6 engines from 1997 to 2004. By lowering the fuel temperature, it effectively minimizes the occurrence of vapor lock and ensures consistent fuel delivery. The components are constructed from aluminum for durable and efficient heat shielding. The kit includes all necessary parts for a complete installation: one manifold heat shield, one fuel rail heat cover, six fuel injector covers, and twelve OE-replacement fuel injector O-rings. This comprehensive package ensures that users have everything needed to protect these critical fuel system components from excessive engine heat.
