The AirDog A6SABD425 is a vehicle-specific fuel lift pump engineered for 1998.5-2004 Dodge Cummins 5.9L diesel engines, specifically the VP-44 and early CP3 fuel systems. This highly durable, metal pump is designed to mount to the frame rail and bypass the factory in-tank lift pump, pulling fuel through a factory-style 1/2" bulkhead fitting. The pressure side connects directly to the injection pump, bypassing the original fuel filter housing. The system also returns air/vapor to the tank through the modified factory 3/8" suction line. This AirDog II-4G lift pump system delivers a consistent, preset pressure of 15-17 PSI and supports an impressive 500HP-800HP with a flow rate of 165 gallons per hour. It is known for its smooth operation, quality finish, and for providing improved throttle response, a smoother idle, and better acceleration. The pump utilizes a 1/2 inch fuel line for optimal performance. Installation involves a Fuel Module Upgrade Kit installed in the factory fuel basket. The product is a new, unused, unopened, and undamaged item made in the USA.
