Fuel Line/PCV/EEC Hose

The Gates 27008 is a versatile Safety Stripe Fuel Line/PCV/Evaporative Emission Control (EEC) Hose constructed from nitrile for enhanced durability and resistance to heat, oil, ozone, and weathering. Its spiral-reinforced design ensures robust performance in demanding automotive fuel and emissions systems. This hose meets the requirements of SAE J30R7 and DIN 73379 standards, offering reliable operation across a wide temperature range of -40°F to 257°F (-40°C to 125°C) for gasoline blends. It is suitable for use in fuel, oil, coolant, water, and alcohol lines that require MIL–DTL–6000 compliance. This hose has an inside diameter of 0.625 inches and an outside diameter of 0.94 inches, with a working pressure rating of 35 psi and a vacuum rating of 10 inHg. It is conveniently available in 25-foot lengths, packaged in a reusable and recyclable format suitable for display. However, it is crucial to note that this hose is not intended for use as a pressure line on fuel-injected engines or for cooling system applications. For fuel injection applications, Gates recommends their Barricade Fuel Injection hose. Additionally, this hose is intended for use with fuels where MTBE concentrations do not exceed 15 percent by volume.
