The Bosch 0280161509 fuel pressure damper, also known as a pulsation damper, is a genuine OEM replacement part designed to help your engine run smoothly. Replacing a clogged or dirty fuel pressure damper can lead to improved engine performance, including a smoother idle, better throttle response, and more efficient fuel atomization. This component plays a crucial role in regulating fuel pressure within the fuel system. It is compatible with the following engine configurations: 2.3L Turbo (B5234T, B5234T3, B5234T7), 2.4L Turbo (B5244T, B5244T3, B5244T5), and 2.5L Turbo (B5254T, B5254T2). Vehicle applications include the Volvo S60 1 and Volvo S80 1. This Bosch damper is also cross-referenced with part number SMP FPD57. Installation typically involves plumbing the damper into the high-pressure fuel feed line, as close to the fuel rail as possible.
