Fuel Pressure Regulator Delete Kit

The Modern Day Muffler GF-JFRD-V2 Fuel Pressure Regulator Delete kit is constructed from billet aluminum and is designed for 1997-2004 Jeep TJ Wrangler and 1997-2001 Jeep Cherokee models. This component bypasses the stock Jeep fuel pressure regulator, which typically operates at 40 PSI, and replaces it with a billet aluminum unit. This allows for higher fuel pressures often required for engine swaps. The GF-JFRD-V2 features non-regulated ports and an integrated return port, facilitating the use of an external fuel pressure regulator. It seals to the OEM sending unit with an O-ring and mounts using the stock fuel regulator strap. The kit includes hose barb fittings for 3/8" fuel injection-rated hose and is tapped for 1/8" NPT fittings. This setup replaces the restrictive stock plastic pickup with a hose barb and rubber fuel injection hose. Components such as hose, clamps, fuel filter, and an external regulator are sold separately. It is important to note that this kit is not compatible with early Jeep TJs that used a Dakota Truck style module; a late fuel module may be required for those applications.
