Overview

The GForce GF-JFRD-V2 is a fuel pressure regulator delete kit for 1997-2004 Jeep TJ Wranglers and 1997-2001 Jeep XJ Cherokees. It bypasses the stock 40 PSI regulator, replacing it with a billet aluminum part that utilizes non-regulated ports and includes an integrated return port for an external regulator. This kit eliminates the need to drill into the fuel tank and seals to the OEM sending unit with an O-ring.

The GForce GF-JFRD-V2 is a fuel pressure regulator delete kit designed for engine swaps in Jeep TJ Wranglers (1997-2004) and XJ Cherokees (1997-2001). The stock Jeep fuel pressure is typically 40 PSI, which is insufficient for many engine swap applications. This billet aluminum part bypasses the OEM regulator, providing non-regulated ports and an integrated return port for an external regulator setup. The kit seals to the OEM sending unit using an O-ring and is secured by the stock fuel regulator strap, eliminating the need to drill into the fuel tank. It includes hose barb fittings for 3/8” fuel injection rated hose and is tapped for ¼ NPT fittings. Note that hoses, clamps, and the fuel filter/regulator itself are sold separately. This setup replaces the restrictive stock plastic pickup with a hose barb and rubber fuel injection hose. In rare cases, early Jeep TJ models with a Dakota Truck style module may not be compatible. If this is the case, a late fuel module can be purchased and used with this regulator delete kit.
