Specifically intended as an upgrade for the Elantra N, Veloster N, i30N, and Kona N, this pump addresses the common issue of fuel starvation that can occur in these cars, particularly after tuning or modifications that increase power output. Manufactured in Korea, this is presented as an original factory part, distinct from lower-quality replicas. The product listing also offers optional extras such as a pump gasket and fuel pipe, and includes two new factory bolts with every order, as reusing original bolts is not recommended. While the installation process is sometimes described as straightforward online, Shark Racing strongly recommends professional installation due to the critical nature of fuel system components. They also advise replacing the fuel pipe, as it is technically not a reusable item and should be swapped when the high-pressure fuel pump is replaced.
