The Audi/INA fuel pump cam follower is an OE quality replacement part. This component sits on the intake camshaft lobe to drive the high-pressure fuel pump piston. It is a common wear item in 2.0T FSI engines, and wear can lead to issues with the fuel pump system.

This critical component sits on the intake camshaft lobe, driving the piston within the high-pressure fuel pump. It is a known wear item in 2.0T FSI engines, and failure can result in significant issues with the fuel pump system. Worn cam followers, sometimes developing holes, can allow the high-pressure fuel pump piston to cause damage to the intake camshaft. Regular inspection is highly recommended, especially for modified engines operating under higher boost levels. Recommended inspection intervals are every 7,500-10,000 miles for highly modified vehicles and every 20,000-30,000 miles for stock vehicles. This cam follower is specifically designed for VW/Audi 2.0T FSI engines from 2005 to approximately mid-2008. It will not fit models from mid-2008 onward or engines that are not FSI. Compatible vehicles include the Audi A3 (2006-2008), A4 (2005-2009), A4 Quattro (2005-2009), TT (2008-2009), TT Quattro (2008-2009), and Volkswagen models such as the Eos (2006-2008), Golf R (2006-2008), GTI (2006-2008), Jetta (2006-2008), and Passat (2006-2007).
