Fuel Pump Hanger

The Radium Engineering 20-0781-00 Fuel Pump Hanger is a direct replacement for the OEM in-tank fuel pump unit in late model Subaru vehicles. This hanger is specifically designed to accommodate one or two Deatschwerks DW400 high-flow aftermarket fuel pumps. It is fully compatible with alternative fuels such as E85. The machined assembly mounts in the factory fuel tank using the OEM gasket and replaces the OEM hold-down flange, requiring no permanent modifications for installation. To prevent fuel starvation, the hanger features an anodized aluminum collector box that keeps fuel trapped around the pumps. Two 1-way fill valves on the collector box (each flowing 355LPH, 710LPH total) allow fuel in but prevent it from exiting. An integrated venturi jet pump with a pressure relief valve (PRV) efficiently transfers fuel from the passive side of the OEM fuel tank to the active side where the pump(s) reside, without restricting the return line. All returning fuel from the FPR return and crossover hose enter the collector box through a one-way duckbill valve, maintaining a full collector and reducing fuel spray noise. **Plumbing Features:** * **Fuel Pump Out:** 8AN ORB (3/4"-16) port with preinstalled SAE quick connect male adapter for connecting to the OEM feed line. * **FPR Return:** 6AN ORB (9/16"-18) port with preinstalled SAE quick connect male adapter for connecting to the OEM return line. * **Crossover:** 6AN ORB (9/16"-18) port with preinstalled SAE quick connect male adapter for connecting to the OEM crossover line. * Internal merging of fuel pumps into a single port eliminates the need for an external fuel line merging kit if factory lines are reused. **Electrical Features:** * Single pump applications can reuse OEM fuel pump controller wiring; however, upgrading OEM wiring is recommended for optimal performance with high-current pumps. * Custom-designed anti-rotation stainless steel electrical studs handle high current demand and are hermetically sealed, impervious to all standard and exotic fuels. * Low-profile design allows wiring to be tucked under the OEM access cover. * Each pump has dedicated +/- electrical connections with anti-rotation terminals. * Nonconductive anodized acorn nuts prevent accidental short circuits. * Reuses factory fuel temperature and level sensors. **Special Fitment Notes for FA20F Engines:** * For 2014-2018 Subaru Forester XT and 2015-2021 Subaru WRX, the optional **20-0850 Fuel Level Sender Adapter FA20** is required. * Installations into these FA20F vehicles also require an aftermarket Fuel Pressure Regulator, as the OEM fuel system is returnless and its internal FPR is discarded. * An external post-pump fuel filter is required for all installations.
