The Racetronix FPWH-052 is a comprehensive electrical upgrade system engineered specifically for the 1997-2003 C5 Corvette, designed to ensure optimal performance and longevity for high-output fuel pumps. Factory fuel pump wiring is often inadequate for modern performance pumps, which can demand significantly more current than original equipment. This can result in voltage drop, overheating of connectors, and ultimately, fuel pump failure. The FPWH-052 kit fundamentally re-engineers how power and ground are delivered to the pump. By converting factory ground circuits into a dual-positive feed, it effectively doubles the current capacity through the bulkhead connector. This kit provides a robust solution that allows your fuel pump to operate at its rated capacity without taxing the vehicle's existing electrical infrastructure. It features a high-output wiring harness (FPWH-052HD), a Delphi 4-way Metri-Pack bulkhead connector assembly (BCA-4W), an in-tank harness (ITWH-055) for Sumitomo/Tyco connectors, and a booster interface connector (PBIC-001) for voltage booster integration. The system includes spare fuses, cable ties, and silicone grease.
