This kit converts the factory "return less" fuel system to a full return system, which is necessary for higher fuel pressure demands, particularly for turbocharged or supercharged vehicles.

The AAM Competition 350Z HR Fuel Return System is engineered to enhance the reliability of your 2007-2008 Nissan 350Z's fuel system. This upgrade is essential for vehicles with forced induction, such as turbochargers or superchargers, enabling them to efficiently support the demand for higher fuel pressure and achieve higher horsepower outputs. For instance, force-inducted 370Zs can reach up to 500rwhp with this system. This system is a direct bolt-on kit that transforms the stock "return less" fuel system into a full return system. The factory "return less" setup offers limited fuel adjustment and can become restrictive once the engine produces over 380whp. A key limitation of the factory system is its non-adjustable fuel pressure regulator, located inside the fuel tank, which struggles to maintain consistent pressure with aftermarket fuel pumps and cannot add fuel pressure under boost. The AAM Competition Fuel Return System addresses these limitations by replacing the factory regulator's control with a vacuum/boost sensitive adjustable fuel pressure regulator. This allows for precise adjustment of base fuel pressure and enables fuel pressure to increase under boost conditions. It is highly recommended for any forced induction (supercharged or turbocharged) vehicle, as well as vehicles utilizing large nitrous shots, to ensure optimal fuel delivery and performance.
