Full Skid Package

The Talons Garage Full Skid Package provides comprehensive underbody protection for the 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma with a V6 engine and 4x4 drivetrain. This system consists of an engine skid, a transmission skid with integrated catalytic converter protection, and a transfer case skid. The components are CNC laser-cut from high-strength materials, with the steel variant finished in a durable black powder coat and the aluminum option offering a lightweight, rust-resistant alternative. Ventilation holes are strategically placed around the transmission area to ensure optimal heat dissipation during operation. Installation is straightforward, utilizing existing factory mounting points with the included zinc-coated button head Allen hardware. No drilling is required. In some configurations, a small tab on the OEM/TRD skid plate may require minor bending to accommodate the transmission shield. Compatibility is strictly limited to 4x4 V6 models. This package is not compatible with lift kits that require subframe modifications, typically those exceeding 3 inches of lift. Manual transmission compatibility is confirmed.
