Full Stack 2.25" Intercooler Core

The ZZPerformance Full Stack 2.25" Intercooler Core represents a significant advancement in intercooling technology, designed as a direct replacement for ZZP's 2.25" Intercooler System or as an upgrade for smaller intercooler systems. This core boasts a 20% denser construction and an optimized shape for improved airflow efficiency. Enhancements include straight-through PCV passages, which retain factory PCV function without requiring an intake manifold swap, and internally sealed o-ring passages instead of RTV. This intercooler core is ¾ of a pound lighter than its predecessor and features larger ¾” nipples for increased water flow, compared to the previous 5/8” size. The system supports temperature drops ranging from 110-160 degrees Fahrenheit, contingent on blower speed and boost levels. ZZPerformance emphasizes its leadership in intercooler research and development, utilizing a dedicated supercharger dyno to measure numerous parameters, including blower CFM, air temperatures at various stages, pressure, and water flow. This rigorous testing allows for performance guarantees rather than estimations. Longer stainless bolts for blower mounting are included with the purchase. Note that gaskets are sold separately.
