The Spool Performance FX-170 is an upgraded high-pressure fuel pump meticulously engineered for the AMG GT63 featuring the M177 engine. This component boasts a larger bore size compared to the OEM unit, delivering approximately 50% more fuel flow. It is fully compatible with E85 fuel and designed for a straightforward plug-and-play installation, eliminating the need for any cutting or splicing. The primary benefit of the FX-170 is its ability to overcome the inherent fueling limitations of the stock HPFP on M177 motors. By increasing fuel delivery capacity, it enables tuners to push for higher output by supporting larger turbocharger upgrades and running significantly higher ethanol concentration blends. The complete kit includes two FX-170 upgraded high-pressure fuel pumps, an Ethanol Content Monitor kit with mobile and watch applications for real-time data, a Bosch specification 10-micron high-flow fuel filter designed to protect the high-pressure pump and injectors from debris, and all necessary upgraded fuel lines and installation hardware.
