The DSS Racing 1-2834-4040 FX Series forged piston set is engineered for a range of Chevy LS engines, including the 6.0 LS2, 6.2 LS3, L98, LQ9, LS7, LSA, and LSX. These pistons are crafted from premium aircraft-spec alloys, with options for 4032 low expansion alloy (FX-1) or 2618 alloy (FX-2, FX-3) for enhanced durability. Featuring a -22cc dish top and a 4.040-inch bore, these pistons are designed for optimal performance. Specifics include a 1.330-inch compression height, a 0.943-inch pin diameter, and ring grooves measuring 1.2/1.2/3MM. The set is compatible with a 3.622-inch crankshaft stroke and a 6.098-inch connecting rod length, with a TDC assembly height of 9.239 inches for a zero deck height. The FX-3 series further offers extreme duty XR wrist pins and horizontal gas ports for enhanced ring seal.
