FX100 Single-Disc Clutch Kit

The Clutch Masters FX100 is a single-disc clutch kit engineered for street-driven vehicles, offering enhanced performance and durability over OEM components. It utilizes a Power Plus I Heavy-Duty Pressure Plate paired with a steel-backed organic friction material disc. This clutch system is designed to handle the demands of enthusiasts who have made minor bolt-on modifications such as exhaust and intake systems, or have added up to 50hp nitrous oxide. It provides approximately 70% increased holding capacity compared to stock clutches. Despite the performance enhancements, the FX100 maintains a slightly increased pedal pressure over factory specifications, ensuring a normal clutch feel during engagement and disengagement for smooth operation. The kit includes a heavy-duty disc with a steel-backed organic friction material and a Marcel spring wafer. It also comes with an OEM-quality release bearing, a pilot bearing (when applicable), an alignment tool, an instruction card, and decals. While organic, Kevlar, and Fiber-Tough clutch kits are generally expected to have a longer life than OEM, their lifespan is not guaranteed and can be affected by factors such as improper installation, driving style, performance upgrades, break-in procedures, and the use of lightweight flywheels. The Clutch Masters FX100 clutch kit is specifically designed for the Subaru WRX models from 2006 to 2014 with the 2.5L Turbo 5-Speed engine. It is also compatible with the Subaru Legacy Outback 2007-2012 GT 2.5L Turbo 5-Speed models.
