The FX1000 features a billet aluminum cover, machined for strength and anodized for durability. This design delivers 25% more tensile strength than competitors' cast units, reducing cover flex to just .003 inches. This minimized flex ensures consistent clutch engagement and superior clamping force. The unit includes a sprung ceramic disc and a rigid ceramic disc.

The Clutch Masters FX1000 is a 10-inch (254mm) twin disc clutch unit engineered for high-horsepower applications, designed to excel on the track and endure heavy street use. Its strap-driven plate design promotes smooth engagement and minimizes chatter during aggressive driving maneuvers such as hard launches, clutch kicks, and high RPM shifts, making it suitable for performance enthusiasts who demand both power and driver control. Constructed with a billet aluminum cover, this clutch is machined for strength and anodized for durability. This robust construction offers 25% more tensile strength than competing cast units, significantly reducing cover flex to a mere .003 inches. This minimized flex ensures consistent clutch engagement and superior clamping force, as all throwout bearing movement is precisely focused on the diaphragm for enhanced driver control. This kit includes "Race" (TDKR) clutch discs, featuring one sprung ceramic disc and one ceramic rigid disc, along with a 1000 Series flywheel. The FX1000 is available with either aluminum or steel flywheels, providing options for durability and compatibility with various racing standards. Aluminum flywheels are crafted from billet 6061-T6 aluminum and anodized for longevity, while steel flywheels are machined from 1045 billet cores and treated to prevent rust.
