FX400 6-Puck Ceramic Stage 4 Clutch Kit

The Clutch Masters FX400 6-puck clutch kit is engineered as an extreme duty system for both street and racing applications, offering a substantial 170% increase in holding capacity over stock. It utilizes a Power Plus I, Hi-Leverage, Heavy-Duty Pressure Plate paired with a custom, durable sprung ceramic disc. This configuration is available in a 6-puck design, which is the more aggressive option compared to the 8-puck configuration. The FX400/HDC6 (6-Puck) ceramic paddle disc provides a quick and rapid engagement. However, due to its solid (no Marcel) friction rivet design, it may chatter slightly in first and reverse gears, which might not be ideal for all street-driven vehicles. To help mitigate this, the clutch disc employs premium ceramic friction material. It's important to note that ceramic-based clutch discs are primarily intended to enhance holding capacity and durability rather than extend life expectancy, and their harsh engagement may reduce clutch life if used extensively for easy street driving. This kit is designed as a conversion kit, upgrading the disc size and clutch cover for increased robustness. It requires the use of Clutch Masters' lightweight steel flywheel, which must be purchased separately. The kit includes a Heavy-Duty 6-puck ceramic button disc, premium ceramic friction material, a heavy-duty sprung hub (when applicable), no Marcel, an OEM or better release bearing, pilot bearing (when applicable), alignment tool, instruction card, and decals. This clutch kit is compatible with Scion FRS 2012-2016 (2.0L 6-Speed), Subaru BRZ 2013-2025 (2.0L and 2.4L 6-Speed), and Toyota GR86/GT86 2013-2025 (2.0L and 2.4L 6-Speed) models.
