The Clutch Masters FX400 Single Disc Clutch Kit with Steel Flywheel is engineered for performance enthusiasts seeking to upgrade their 2000-2006 Audi TT 1.8T MK1 6-Speed. This system provides a substantial 170% increase in holding capacity over stock, estimated to handle up to 475 ft-lbs of torque, making it ideal for both street use and demanding track conditions like road racing and drag racing. The FX400 system utilizes Clutch Masters' Power Plus I, Hi-Leverage, Heavy-Duty Pressure Plate, which increases clamping force without significantly increasing pedal pressure, thanks to its re-engineered leverage point. This is paired with a custom and durable sprung ceramic 6-puck disc. The 6-puck configuration is more aggressive than the 8-puck option, offering quicker engagement. The sprung hub design provides moderate dampening, enhancing street friendliness compared to solid or rigid designs, while the disc itself is built for longevity, rapid heat dissipation, and superior holding power. This comprehensive kit includes a steel flywheel, a heavy-duty pressure plate, a sprung 6-puck ceramic disc, a release bearing, and an alignment tool. Please note that flywheel bolts and a pilot bushing are not included in this kit.
