The VIS Racing G Force Style Carbon Fiber Hood is specifically engineered for Chevrolet Camaro 2-door vehicles from 1998 to 2002. Constructed from Grade-A carbon fiber, this hood features a two-part design where the top layer is bonded with high-grade epoxy resin and finished with an ultra-clear, Poly Shield UV-protective polyurethane coating for a durable, high-gloss appearance. The underside is a one-piece smooth shell fused to the top layer, increasing structural integrity. Edges are meticulously hand-smoothed for a quality finish. VIS Racing has refined its manufacturing process by incorporating the Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.), which uses a single-mold vacuum to create parts that are 10-20% lighter and more durable than previous methods. This process is being transitioned across their carbon fiber product line. Each hood comes with a VIS badge of authenticity. Due to the intended use of this product, hood pins are required for installation. It is important to note that these products are generally intended for off-road use only, unless local and state laws dictate otherwise. Fitment is confirmed for 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, and 2002 Chevrolet Camaro 2-door models. Buyers are strongly advised to confirm fitment with the seller before ordering to avoid potential issues and ensure compatibility.
