Overview

The G-Sport GEN2 Advanced UHO is an EPA-compliant catalytic converter designed for high-output applications. It features a 400 CPSI S-Wound metallic core and a proprietary coating engineered for modern OBD2 catalyst-efficiency monitoring in 2017 and newer vehicles.

Constructed from 300 Series stainless steel, this converter is built to withstand extreme temperatures up to 1,600°F and supports up to 850 horsepower per converter. Its Double-Lock technology ensures the substrate remains securely in place.

The G-Sport Gen2 HO catalytic converter is engineered for performance while meeting EPA emissions standards. Unlike typical converters with fragile ceramic substrates, this unit utilizes a robust S-Wound metallic substrate. This core is further reinforced with nickel strips and furnace-brazed, then secured by G-Sport's 'Double-Lock' transition cone to ensure it withstands the demands of high-performance applications without failure. Designed for optimal emissions control without performance degradation, this converter features a 300 cells per square inch (CPSI) design. Its advanced substrate and proprietary wash coat nano-technology work together to achieve a high level of emissions reduction, offering flow rates comparable to similar 200 CPSI converters on the market. The converter is built with high-grade stainless steel and employs G-Sport's C3 Process for durability. This EPA-compliant model has been third-party lab tested to meet or exceed local emissions standards in North America, excluding California, and can help address Check Engine light issues with proper engine setup. It is designed for vehicles up to the 2016 model year, with the GEN2 core supporting up to 1,200 hp in newer applications. Note that this product is not CARB-certified and is not approved for use in California.
