Overview

The Comnav 11220008 G1 GNSS Satellite Compass provides accurate heading, position, and rate of turn for marine applications. This compact, all-in-one unit is maintenance-free and fully compatible with NMEA 2000 or 0183 equipment such as autopilots, radar, AIS, and plotters. It delivers accurate 2D heading and positioning data, along with heave, pitch, and roll information. DGPS ensures sub-meter positioning accuracy, enhanced by SBAS (WAAS, EGNOS, MSAS) and RTCM SC-104 data differential correction. Featuring COAST™ technology, it maintains differentially-corrected position for over 40 minutes even with signal loss. Integrated Gyro & Tilt sensors facilitate fast startup and continuous heading updates during temporary GPS outages. The unit offers 20 Hz position and heading update rates (10Hz standard), multiple BAUD rate selections, and is CE certified for EMI and RFI immunity. It comes with pre-programmed default settings, and an optional color display is available, backed by a 2-year warranty.
