The Garrett G25-550 G Series turbocharger is engineered for high-performance applications, supporting engine displacements from 1.4L to 3.0L and delivering a horsepower range of 300-550 HP. This unit features a .72 A/R turbine housing with a V-Band external wastegate (EWG) connection for precise boost control. The advanced compressor wheel technology, designed using CFD, offers significantly improved flow compared to previous generations. The turbine wheel is constructed from Mar-M super alloy, a material chosen for its exceptional heat resistance, capable of handling up to 1050 degrees Celsius – a substantial increase over traditional Inconel turbine wheels.
