G42-1200 Ball Bearing Turbocharger

The Garrett G42-1200 turbo assembly kit is engineered to provide a quick-spooling, high-horsepower solution for performance vehicles with engine displacements from 2.0 to 7.0 liters. It features a robust ball-bearing center cartridge for durability and reduced friction. The turbine side boasts a new aero wheel design that offers 10% more flow capacity compared to the previous GTX42 model, with a peak efficiency of 77% at a 1.01 A/R. The turbine wheel itself is constructed from Inconel super alloy, enabling it to withstand extreme operating temperatures of up to 950°C. This kit includes the divided T4 V-band turbine housing with a 1.01 A/R. Key specifications include a 73mm compressor wheel inducer, 91mm exducer, and a 65 trim. The turbine wheel specifications are an 82mm inducer and a 75mm exducer with an 84 trim. Optional installation hardware such as oil feed and drain flanges, V-band compressor outlet and downpipe flanges, and T4 turbine inlet gaskets are available separately to complete the installation.
