G42-1200 Turbo Assembly Kit

The Garrett G42-1200 turbo assembly kit is engineered to deliver a quick spooling, high horsepower solution for engine platforms ranging from 2.0 to 7.0 liters. This turbocharger is built around a ten-blade, forged, fully-machined G Series compressor wheel, featuring advanced aerodynamics for maximum airflow and faster boost response due to its low inertia design. The turbine side boasts a new aero wheel that flows 10% more and achieves a peak efficiency of 77%, surpassing the GTX42's 74% efficiency with a 1.01 A/R. Constructed with Inconel super alloy, the turbine housing is built to withstand extreme operating temperatures of up to 950°C. Key specifications include a 73mm compressor wheel inducer, 91mm exducer, and a 65 trim with a 0.85 A/R compressor housing. The turbine side features an 82mm inducer, 75mm exducer, and an 84 trim with a 1.01 A/R turbine housing. The system utilizes an oil and water-cooled bearing housing and is configured without a wastegate. Installation requires specific hardware, including an oil feed flange with a built-in restrictor (-4 AN), oil feed and drain gaskets, and an oil drain flange. V-Band flanges and clamps are provided for both the compressor outlet and the turbine inlet/outlet, facilitating easy connection to the manifold and downpipe. Alternate coolant and oil fittings are also available.
