It features expanded data logging capabilities and utilizes the same microcontroller as the entire G4X range, offering improved responsiveness and higher bandwidth compared to its predecessor.

The Link G4X AtomX ECU is the latest iteration of Link's entry-level engine control unit, offering significant advancements in performance and data logging. Despite its compact size, it incorporates the same powerful microcontroller found throughout the G4X series, resulting in enhanced responsiveness and higher bandwidth than the previous G4+ Atom II model. It supports up to 2 rotors or 4 cylinders with sequential injection and direct spark, or up to eight cylinders using batch fire. It also features knock control (version 3 or newer). Key specifications include 512MB of 32-bit logging memory capable of handling up to 250 channels at 1kHz each, with a maximum sampling rate of 100 kSamples/sec. Communications have been improved with an 8x faster speed for quicker log downloads and interaction with the PCLink software. Inputs include 2 digital, 2 temperature, 3 analog, and 2 trigger inputs. Outputs consist of 4 injector drives, 4 ignition drivers, and 4 auxiliary outputs. Communication ports include 1x CAN bus and 1x USB tuning connection, along with a 34-pin waterproof connector and an upgraded communications chip. The AtomX ECU requires an "A" loom for installation and is suitable for a variety of configurations, including 1-12 cylinder distributed, 2-8 cylinder wasted spark, 1-4 cylinder direct spark, odd fire engines, and 2-stroke engines. It also allows for configurable firing order and TDC points for odd fire setups.
