The Link ECU G4X PlugIn ECU is engineered for advanced engine management, offering a significant upgrade over stock systems. No alterations to the factory wiring loom are necessary for the specified models, simplifying the installation process and preserving the original look. This ECU supports manual transmissions only and includes an onboard 4 bar MAP sensor (with options for a 7 bar sensor). While knock control is not available on this particular model, it supports most factory features and offers I/O expansion options for further customization. The G4X platform provides advanced capabilities such as up to 6D fuel and ignition mapping, precision closed-loop cam control, sequential fuel delivery, and digital triggering for all OEM patterns. It is crucial to verify your vehicle's connector matches the ECU header shown in product images before purchasing. This ECU is specifically designed for the following applications: 1600 1989-1997 NA MX5, 1800 1989-1997 NA MX5, 1800 323 GTX, and 1800 323 GTR. Please note that this ECU does NOT fit NB, NC, or ND models, and is only suitable for vehicles with the 2-plug ECU connector, not the later 3-plug models.
