Overview

The Link ECU JZX90Link is a G4X PlugIn ECU designed to maximize engine potential. It fits inside the factory OEM enclosure and requires no alteration of the factory wiring loom for compatible models. This ECU is specifically designed for the 1JZ-GTE (Non-VVTi) engine and works with manual transmissions only. It includes an onboard 7 bar MAP sensor and supports most factory features, though factory traction control is not supported and may cause the dash light to illuminate.

The Link ECU JZX90Link G4X PlugIn ECU offers the latest in engine management technology, designed for easy installation and to maximize the potential of your vehicle. This ECU fits directly inside the factory OEM enclosure, eliminating the need for any alteration to the factory wiring loom for the specified applications. It is engineered for the 1JZ-GTE (Non-VVTi) engine and is compatible exclusively with manual transmissions. Featuring an onboard 7 bar MAP sensor, this ECU supports most factory features. However, it's important to note that the factory traction control system is not supported by this unit, which may result in the dash light remaining illuminated. For I/O expansion options, consult the features tab. Suitable applications include the Toyota JZX90 (Chaser/Cresta/Mark II) and the Toyota JZZ30 (Soarer), both equipped with the 1JZ-GTE (Non-VVTi) engine and a manual transmission. Note that while the JZZ30 is pin-compatible, it is not case-compatible with this ECU. This Plug-in ECU utilizes a new 4-pin powered CAN connector, which replaces the older CANPCB cable. A CANJST4 cable (Link PN 101-0198) is required for connecting CAN devices. This new connector provides CAN connection, along with a protected 12V power supply and ground for CAN devices, managed by a self-resetting 3A fuse. All Link ECUs ship locked and require a serial number from the ECU or package to be provided to Link ECU for an unlock code.
