The Link Engine Management CivicLink HC96X G4X PlugIn ECU offers advanced engine management technology designed for easy installation and reliable performance. It integrates directly into the factory OEM enclosure, eliminating the need for wiring loom modifications on supported vehicles. This unit is engineered for 1996-1998 Honda B16 and B18 engines equipped with the "OBD2A" ECU. Key features of the G4X PlugIn ECUs include up to 6D fuel and ignition mapping, precision closed-loop cam control for four cams, and sequential fuel delivery. It supports OEM idle hardware, offers 5D boost control with switchable tables, and includes motorsport features like antilag, launch control, and flat shifting. Continuous barometric correction is handled by an on-board sensor, and a CAN port is included for communication. The ECU also features QuickTune for automated fuel tuning, individual cylinder correction, and includes a USB tuning cable. Stats are recorded to on-board memory, with gear compensations for spark, boost, and fuel, as well as real-time selectable dual fuel, ignition, and boost maps. Sync and crank sensors can be a combination of Hall effect, variable reluctance, or optical, and boost control can be referenced to gear, speed, or throttle position. Data logging memory is 512 megabytes, and it supports staged injection and knock sensing with "windowing".
