G4X StormX Wire-In ECU

The LINK G4X StormX Wire-In ECU is engineered to provide advanced tuning capabilities at an accessible price, making it a value-driven option for performance enthusiasts. This mid-sized ECU is the latest iteration in the G4X series, featuring eight injector and eight ignition drives. This configuration allows for sequential injection and direct spark ignition on engines ranging from one to eight cylinders, or up to four rotors. While offering a substantial set of features, the StormX is positioned below the Xtreme and Fury models, which are recommended for applications requiring traction control, peak and hold injection, or e-throttle control. The StormX itself comes equipped with advanced features such as a built-in trigger oscilloscope, onboard knock control supporting two sensors, and both open and closed-loop boost control with up to three switchable tables. It also includes idle valve solenoid or stepper motor control, rotary oil metering pump control, and motorsport-focused functionalities like full gear shift control, antilag, and launch control. The engine configurations it supports include 1-12 cylinder distributed, 2-12 cylinder wasted spark, 1-8 cylinder direct spark, and rotary engines. The G4X StormX boasts significant improvements over its predecessor, the G4+ Storm. It features expanded data logging capabilities with 512 megabytes of storage at 32-bit resolution, supporting up to 250 channels at 1kHz per channel, with a maximum of 100 kSamples/sec. Communications speed has also been enhanced, being at least 8 times faster, which expedites log downloads and interaction with the PCLink tuning software. The ECU requires separate purchase of “A” & “B” looms or connector kits for installation.
