The Link ECU WRXLink is a G4X PlugIn ECU designed to maximize your car's potential. It fits inside the factory OEM enclosure and requires no alteration of the factory wiring loom for compatible models. This ECU is specifically designed for the WRX V5-6 EJ20 engine and supports manual transmissions only.

The Link ECU Plugin G4X WRX6 (part number 228-4000) is a direct-fit engine control unit engineered for Subaru WRX and STI models (GC8F/GC8G) manufactured between September 1998 and August 2000 (MY99 & MY00). It utilizes the G4X Plug-In ECU platform, offering advanced engine management technology to help maximize your vehicle's potential. This unit is exclusively compatible with manual transmission models. An air temperature sensor is highly recommended for optimal performance, and most factory features are retained. Key features include up to 6D fuel and ignition mapping, precision closed-loop four-cam control, sequential fuel delivery, and 5D boost control with three switchable tables. Advanced motorsport functions such as antilag, launch control, and flat shifting are also supported. The ECU includes on-board barometric correction, CAN port capabilities with a new 4-pin powered CAN connector (requiring the CANJST4 cable), and 512MB of data logging memory. Expansion options are available via two XS connectors, providing additional digital inputs, analog voltage inputs, and temperature sensor inputs, along with auxiliary ignition outputs.
