G5 ECU Plug-In

The Link Engine Management G5 ECU Plug-In is a direct, plug-and-play replacement for the factory ECU in Toyota GT86, Subaru BRZ, and Scion FR-S models. Designed specifically for the 2.0 L 4U-GSE/FA20 H4 engine, it integrates seamlessly with the original wiring loom, eliminating the need for an adapter harness. This ECU supports both manual and automatic transmissions and includes a sample map to assist with initial tuning. Constructed with a durable billet CNC aluminum enclosure, the G5 ECU mounts in the OEM location for a straightforward installation. It runs on the same powerful microcontroller and firmware as the G5 Voodoo Pro, offering a significant upgrade in performance and control. Key features include full OEM CAN bus integration, control over direct and port injection, and factory E-throttle (DBW) and VVT-i control. The ECU boasts extensive data logging capabilities with 512MB of onboard storage, supporting up to 250 channels at a sample rate of 100k samples per second. It comes pre-loaded with all motorsport features, such as anti-lag, boost control, launch control, and traction control, alongside exceptional adaptive knock control and an onboard 3-axis accelerometer with a trigger oscilloscope. The PC Link software provides a comprehensive platform for tuning, display, and log analysis. For 2017+ models, specific adjustments are necessary due to differences in the crank sensor (requiring a change from 'Reluctor' to 'Optical/Hall' and enabling Trigger 1 Pull-up) and the DI Fuel Pressure sensor (requiring an 8.2kohm pullup resistor and specific calibration). This LHD version is for left-hand drive vehicles; a RHD version is available under part number 241-4000.
