G87 M2 Valved Sport Cat-Back Exhaust

The Valvetronic Designs G87 M2 Valved Sport Exhaust system is engineered to upgrade the auditory experience of BMW's smallest M car. Drawing on established G80 M3 equal length midpipe technology, this exhaust delivers a richer, more aggressive soundtrack suitable for the G87 M2's performance-oriented platform. It offers an engaging driving experience by improving tone and volume, specifically adapted for the G87's shorter wheelbase. The system features a 3.5-inch equal length, free-flow midpipe designed to smooth the exhaust tone, minimize rasp, and improve scavenging. With the valves open, drivers can expect an unrestricted, aggressive tone with a powerful overrun and high-RPM scream. When valves are closed, the exhaust maintains a refined, stock-like volume for comfortable daily driving. Constructed from either T304 stainless steel or lightweight Grade 5 titanium, this cat-back exhaust offers significant weight reduction. The titanium option is 55.8 lbs lighter than the stock system, while the stainless steel version is 26.0 lbs lighter. It is TIG-welded and fully mandrel-bent for durability and maximum flow, and is 100% reversible to the stock configuration. Important notes for installation include that when installing just the midpipe, a cut should be made at the OEM rear section between the first and second dimple for proper fitment. Additionally, older Valvetronic Designs systems (V1/V2) are not compatible with this latest V3 cat-back system, requiring an upgrade to the V3 design for full compatibility.
