G8x Carbon Fiber Cold Air Intake

The Dinan G8x Carbon Fiber Cold Air Intake is engineered to enhance the performance of BMW's S58 engine found in models like the G80 M3, G82/G83 M4, and G87 M2. This system focuses on increasing airflow to the engine, which can lead to improved turbo efficiency and greater power potential, especially in modified builds. The design aims for an optimal balance of function, sound, and aesthetics, integrating seamlessly with the factory engine bay for an OEM+ look. Key enhancements include a 12.4% increase in airflow (from 815 CFM to 916 CFM at 28" H2O), attributed to a singular, enlarged plenum that offers 50% more volume than the stock dual-duct setup. The airboxes are also 26% larger and house cotton air filters with an 11% greater surface area (72in² vs. 65in² per side), ensuring superb filtration while maximizing air intake. The intake system is crafted from Matte Twill Carbon Fiber and is available in either a gloss or matte finish. Installation is designed to be a straightforward bolt-on process, with an estimated labor time of 1.5 hours. It is important to note that the OEM M4 CSL strut brace is not compatible with this Dinan intake. Additionally, this product is not for sale or use in the state of California on any pollution-controlled vehicle, as per the California Air Resources Board.
