The Alpha-N G8X M3 / M4 Carbon Vented Hood is crafted to provide race car-inspired styling and significant weight savings for your street vehicle. Its construction utilizes a high-performance blend of carbon fiber reinforced with an inner layer of Kevlar, ensuring both strength and rigidity. This vented hood is engineered to be 40% lighter than the factory original. While BMW utilizes aluminum for its production hoods to balance weight and cost, the Alpha-N hood achieves an impressive 17lbs, a substantial reduction from the OE hood's 28lbs. This weight reduction contributes to improved vehicle dynamics and a more performance-oriented feel. Installation requires paint and clear coat. The vent mesh is an optional component and is made-to-order. This hood is specifically designed to fit the BMW G80 M3, M3 Competition, and M3 Competition xDrive, as well as the BMW G82 M4, M4 Competition, M4 Competition xDrive, and G83 M4 Competition xDrive models, all equipped with the S58 3.0L engine.
